Inc. announced that net sales up 51% to $9.91 billion in the second Quarter of 2011. Operating cash flow was $3.21 billion for the trailing twelve months in 2011. There was a 25% increase when it compared with the same period of 2010. Operating income decreased 34% to $201 million for the second quarter of 2011 results, compared with $270 million in the same period of 2010. expect that third-quarter sales will increase 47% to between $10.3 billion and $11.1 billion. AMZN projected operating income will be between $20 million and $170 million. Finally, Amazon’s second quarter results were ahead of analyst’s expectations on revenues and profits. AMZN had the fastest growth over a decade. As a result, analysts became more optimistic about Inc stocks.
