NVIDIA (NVDA) is a global technology company that based in Santa Clara, California and founded by Jen-Hsun Huang, Chris Malachowsky and Curtis Priem in 1993. NVIDIA raised awareness with inventing GPU (Graphic Processor Unit) in 1999. NVIDIA listed in NASDAQ in 1999.  NVIDIA has developed four product brands  for the needs of  market segments : Tegra (revolutionizes mobile computing), GeForce (accelerates consumer desktop PCs and notebooks), Quadro (the driving force behind powerful workstations) and Tesla (transforming the world of supercomputing). NVIDIA has also put substantial technologies into the market such as 3D Vision, SLI, Optimus, PhysX and CUDA. NVIDIA acquired Exluna Inc., MediaQ Inc., i-Ready and Hybrid graphics in the years  of 2000-2006,due to the success of its products. NVIDIA was chosen Company of the year for 2007 by Forbes magazine. After this, NVIDIA continued to grow strongly and announced that it had acquired Portal Player, Inc., Ageia Inc, Icera Inc till 2011. NVIDIA produced the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M, the world’s fastest notebook graphics processing unit in 28th June of 2011.

Let’s look at the financial analysis of NVIDIA. NVIDIA is a mid-cap company with a market cap of $8.66 billion. NVIDIA has an impressive P/E ratio of 35.17 and forward P/E ratio of 11.63. Analysts expect NVIDIA to have a 14.56% EPS growth in the next five years. NVDA (Nasdaq) has a profit margin of 7.16%, operating margin of 7.51% and gross margin of 41.02%. NVIDIA announced that revenue increased 5% to $886.4 million from the prior quarter. NVIDIA reported that net income up 30% to $171.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2011. NVIDIA had a gross margin of 48.1% compared with 44.7% in the same period a year earlier. For the next quarter, revenue is expected to be raised 6% to 8%, and gross margin is expected to be 48.5% to 49.5%.
